Man Arrested After Destroying Ex-Girlfriend's Property In Area, Police Say

A 21-year-old man was arrested after allegedly forcing his way inside his ex-girlfriend's mobile home and destroying her property.

Alexander C. Cisneros, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested around 2:40 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 27, after police responded to a complaint of a domestic incident at the Little Falls Trailer Park, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Michael O'Dowd.

When officers arrived on the scene they found Cisneros inside of the ex-girlfriend's residence, O'Dowd said.

The woman told police that Cisneros forced his way inside without her permission and began to damage property.

Cisneros was arrested and charged with felony burglary, felony criminal mischief, and felony aggravated family offense.

He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bail bond.
